Epson SX400
The new Epson SX400 is cued to be the affordable solution to all your general printing scanning and photo coping needs. It may have affordable purchase price at under £60 but it running cost in terms of the cost of the replacement printer ink cartridges are not quite so affordable. Epson SX400 ink cartridges consist of four individual cartridges, one for each of colours and this means when each cartridge can be changed separately with affecting each other. The cost of the genuine Epson ink cartridges is around £30 from competitive retailers and this is when the cartridges are bought in a multi-pack the cost increases if the cartridges are bought individually. There are compatible ink cartridges avaible for the SX400 and they cost half the price of the originals, print the same amount of pages with quality difficult to tell apart. The SX400 is a very compact device that is well put together, which is a big improvement over previous Epson printer models. The SX400 printing capabilities are very good for a printer that costs so little, its print quality is excellent for all kinds of documents from text with has a dark crisp look, through to high resolution photos with their vivid colour tones. As well as printing the SX400 offers high resolution scanning up to 1200dpi which is more than capable of scanning anything from a basis drawing to a photo print. The photo copier makes use of the SX400’s A4 flat bed scanner in producing its great quality copier with speed and ease of use. The photo copier works without the need for a computer and another feature of the SX400 that works in this way is direct printing from memory cards and PictBridge enabled digital cameras.
